Nigerian-Polish Initiative is a partnership realized on October 1, 2009. The project is designed to enhance the protection of the rights of migrants in Poland.

Partners to ‘Migrant Rights: Nigerian-Polish Initiative’ are the Rule of law Institute Foundation from Poland and Human Support Services from Nigeria. The project is being funded by the EC – UN Joint Migration and Development Initiative. Actions for the project are designed to be realized in both partner countries “Nigeria and Poland” with partner organizations coming from the two partner countries. The project seeks to create positive linkages between the phenomenon of migration and development in countries of migration origin and destination.

Migrant Rights: Nigerian-Polish Initiative is designed to enhance the protection of migrant rights in Poland. Fundamental in its goals include awareness raising, knowledge and skills improvement on the rules, rights and obligations of migrants, as well as to encourage respect for the rights of migrants. Project actions are as well designed to support and/or assist the integration process of migrants in Republic of Poland.
